Labour Chief Ng Chee Meng says a review was started, after a proposed deal by German insurer Allian, to acquire a majority stake in Income Insurance was stopped, by the government last year. Mr Ng, the PAP candidate in Jalan Kayu SMC, gave the response after his rival, Andre Low from the Workers' Party, raised the issue at a recent rally. Olivia Siong reports.
