A motorcyclist believes a "humble hero" saved her life after she was left for dead in the middle of the road by a hit-and-run driver. Tina Mcbrien was riding home towards Syston in Leicestershire, after finishing a night-shift working the door at The Railway pub, in Glenfield, when she was struck by a car on the A46. She told Leicestershire Live : "They didn't stop to see if I was okay. They just left me lying unconscious in the middle of the road. Another driver could have easily run over me.
