Table tennis player Bernadette Szocs has been named the 2024 Sportswoman of the Year by the Romanian Table Tennis Federation, according to the organization's official website, informs Agerpres. Szocs won two silver medals this year at the European Senior Championships, in women's singles and doubles, a fifth place at the Paris Olympic Games, in mixed doubles, a bronze medal at the Top 16 Europe and ranked 4th the Romanian team at the Mixed Teams World Cup.
