Sept. 3 (UPI) -- The British government plans to ban the sale of energy drinks to children younger than 16. The proposed ban, which would be implemented under the Food Safety Act of 1990 , would prohibit shops, cafes, restaurants, and websites from selling energy drinks containing more than 150mg of caffeine per liter to anyone under the age of 16. It would affect popular drinks such as Red Bull and Monster, while drinks such as Diet Coke, tea and coffee would remain available for purchase by
