Université de Montréal Apr 17 2026 Scientists have made a major advance in developmental neuroscience, creating the very first detailed atlas of how the vascular network of a mouse's brain grows after birth. Their study is published in Cell. Co-led by Alexandre Dubrac, a researcher at the Centre de recherche Azrieli du CHU Sainte‑Justine and professor at Université de Montréal, the study was carried out in close collaboration with the laboratory of Nicolas Renier at the Paris Brain Institute.
