The U.S. military’s blockade on maritime traffic entering and exiting the Strait of Hormuz is now in effect. In a post Sunday on X , U.S. Central Command said "the blockade will be enforced impartially against vessels of all nations entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports on the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman." But the post clarified it would allow vessels traveling to and from non-Iranian ports to go through the waterway.
