Washington is reviewing a revised EU-backed peace plan submitted by Kyiv. The 20-point proposal sent to the White House is an updated version of a draft which was rejected by Ukraine as being too favourable to Russia. This latest proposal calls for Ukraine to join the EU, possibly as early as January 2027. US-backing could the EU to pressure Hungary to end its opposition to Ukraine's EU application process. In an exclusive interview, the EU's enlargement commissioner, Marta Kos, explains to DW
