Various shots of smoke billowing after strikes STORYLINE: Israeli strikes continued Friday near the Lebanese coastal city of Tyre. The war has killed more than 1,100 people in Lebanon and 1,900 in Iran . Eighteen people have died in Israel, while four Israeli soldiers have also been killed in Lebanon. Thirteen U.S. military members have died, as well as a number of civilians on land and sea in the Gulf region.
