A volcano in far eastern Russia has erupted for the first time in an estimated nearly 600 years. The eruption on Saturday of the Krasheninnikov Volcano may be linked to the recent 8.8-magnitude earthquake in Kamchatka, which triggered tsunami warnings across the Pacific.
