The actor, from Derby, plays gambling addict Matty in the new five-part thriller set in a Liverpool casino. Michael appears alongside Sheridan Smith, who plays a casino worker and single mother Leanne. The Cage follows Leanne who begins pilfering cash from her workplace, The Envoy. Soon enough she learns that Matty, who is the casino's manager, has been doing exactly the same thing. Their lives are
