Clashes erupt on Turkey's border between police and pro-Kurdish protesters angered by a Syrian military offensive targeting Kurds. Protesters reached the border fence and some tried to climb it, while Turkish forces used water cannon, tear gas and warning shots to disperse the crowd at the protest called by the pro-Kurdish DEM, Turkey's third-largest party. Syria's government has since announced that it has agreed a four-day ceasefire with the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
