Defendant in case of pregnant woman who died after being hit by Armenia PM's motorcade sentenced to 1.5 years

Aram Navasardyan, the defendant in the case of pregnant woman Sona Mnatsakanyan who had died after being hit by one of the cars of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's motorcade in downtown Yerevan on April 26, 2022, has been sentenced to 1.5 years in prison. And as an additional penalty, he has been deprived of the right to drive vehicles for 1.5 years. The current preventive measure applied to Navasardyan, however, will remain unchanged until this court ruling enters into force.
