Britain has slapped sweeping sanctions on ten Iranian human rights violators as the verified death toll of bloody protests creeps to over 7,000 with 11,000 injured. A further 17,000 deaths a re being investigated as the sanctions were imposed including punishment against Tehran’s Minister of Interior, police chiefs and military. It comes as the US has a huge military armada gathered including carrier strike force USS Abraham Lincoln and six destroyers off the Persian Gulf preparing for war.
