The Hungarian Parliament has passed amendments to the constitution, introducing a limit on the length of time a prime minister can serve, set at eight years. This period corresponds to two prime ministerial terms. Implementing this change was one of the campaign promises made by Hungary’s incumbent Prime Minister, Peter Magyar.
