Information that the government has determined the date of the heating season in Ukraine from November 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026 is not true, the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine said on Monday. "The decision on the start of the heating season is made by local governments, based on the outdoor air temperature," the department noted. In particular, by decision of local governments in 15 regions and in Kyiv city, heating of certain social facilities has already begun:
