Mounted police clash with counter-protesters as violence breaks out during 'Bristol Patriots' march

Police on horseback were seen wielding batons while clashing with counter-protesters during a far-right march. A group called the 'Bristol Patriots' had organised a 'unity march' in Bristol city centre today. Around 40 people began marching at about 12.15pm after gathering at the Cenotaph earlier today. They were quickly met by hundreds of counter-protesters from a coalition of anti-fascist and anti-racist groups, who gathered nearby and began chanting as the group prepared to start their march
