She is currently an Assistant Professor of Markets, Public Policy and Law at Boston University School of Management. In her work she has studied how low-skilled immigration affects prices and the labour supply of high skilled women in the US, the role of foreign nurses in the US healthcare system, female migration flows in East Asia, and more recently, the role of job flexibility in the persistence
