Head of Romanian Customs Authority, placed under judicial control

The head of the Romanian Customs Authority, Mihai Savin, was placed under judicial control on Thursday for a period of 60 days by prosecutors with the Prosecutor's Office of the Bucharest Court of Appeal. According to officials from the Prosecutor's Office, Mihai Savin is being prosecuted for committing the crimes of intellectual forgery and complicity in the use of forgery.
