A conference entitled "Mediterranean Reflections: Italy and Spain, Centuries of Encounters," organized to mark the 160th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and Spain, was held Thursday at the Amboage Palace, residence of the Italian Embassy in Spain.     The initiative highlighted the historical, cultural and intellectual roots that unite the two countries, emphasizing the role of knowledge, education and media also in building a common European identity.
