President Donald Trump on Saturday night defended a joke in which he said he would sue his Federal Reserve chair nominee Kevin Warsh if he didn't lower interest rates , according to the Wall Street Journal . "It's a roast," Trump told the Journal in response to a question about his joke, stressing that he did not receive any guarantees from Warsh that he would lower interest rates if he took the role of Fed chair.
