A YouTuber has opened up about living in what is often dubbed the world's safest country. Hannah Hamar, a veterinarian, ended her relationship, quit her job, and packed up her "entire life" to move from Australia to Iceland. Her decision came as new figures from Statistics Iceland revealed that 73,795 immigrants were living in the country in 2025, accounting for 18.9 per cent of the population.
