Nov. 15 (UPI) -- The number of reports by people in the United States getting unwanted calls dropped for the third straight year, according to data released Friday by the Federal Trade Commission . The 2024 edition of the FTC's Do Not Call Registry Data Book showed the overall number of complaints is down by more than half since 2021. Advertisement Data released Friday shows Americans reported 1.1 million illegal robocalls last year, down from 1.2 million the year before and 3.4 million in 2021.
