A policeman who shot dead a suspected drugs pusher in Milan's notorious drug-pushing Rogoredo district last month on Tuesday apologised to all those who wear a police uniform in Italy after his arrest on Monday. The 42-year-old policeman, Carmelo Cinturrino, had said the deceased 28-year-old man, Moroccan Abderrahim Mansouri, pulled a pistol on him that subsequently turned out to be blank gun during a drugs control.
