Kim Jong Un sweeps North Korean election with 99.93% of the vote

In North Korea's 2026 parliamentary elections, Kim Jong Un has achieved a landslide win as the Workers' Party of Korea and its coalition partners secured almost 100 per cent of the vote. The regime said it won 99.93 per cent, with 687 deputies elected to the Supreme People’s Assembly. Almost every eligible voter turned up. According to official data, only a tiny fraction, 0.0037%, were unable to vote due to being overseas or at sea. An even smaller share, 0.00003%, abstained. #shorts #
