South Korea's Nextrade reappoints CEO Kim

SEOUL, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- South Korea's Nextrade held a board meeting Monday to reappoint incumbent CEO Kim Hak-soo, who will continue to lead the country's first alternative exchange for the next three years. Since its establishment in late 2022, Kim has taken charge of Nextrade, which began trading in March as the only challenger to the 70-year monopoly of the nation's main bourse, the Korea Exchange.
