Striking up to 1,500 kilometers deep into Russian territory, Ukrainian forces targeted multiple oil facilities overnight on June 25. The long-range drone operation hit the Poltavskaya oil depot in the Krasnodar region, as well as the “Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim” and “Bashneft-Novoil” refineries in Ufa. President Volodymyr Zelensky framed the strikes as part of Ukraine’s “long-range sanctions” plan, emphasizing that the precision attacks should push Moscow toward real diplomacy to end the war. Video:
