Kemi Badenoch has called for Sir Keir Starmer to resign over the latest revelations about Lord Mandelson's appointment as the UK's ambassador to the US. The Tory leader said: "Either the prime minister is lying or he is so incompetent that he is unfit to run the country. Either way, his position is untenable."
