Belarus and North Korea are tightening relations

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has arrived in North Korea at the invitation of Kim Jong Un. This marks the first-ever visit by a Belarusian president to the country. Lukashenko, who has ruled Belarus for over 30 years , will spend two days in North Korea. The signing of a treaty on friendship and cooperation between the two nations is planned. Around ten sectoral agreements are expected to be concluded, covering, among others, agriculture, education, and mutual deliveries of goods
