Speaking at an embassy roundtable in Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov claimed that Western backing of the Ukrainian government proves that the modern European Union “adheres to the values of Nazism.” Lavrov accused Western capitals of seeking “revenge” and wanting Russia to capitulate, while asserting that Moscow’s military objectives in Ukraine will be fully achieved.
