Mark Harrison is Emeritus Professor of Economics at the University of Warwick and a Fellow of the British Academy and of the Academy of Social Science. He is a research fellow of CEPR and of Warwick’s Centre on Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy. His research interests include the economic history of Russia and the Soviet bloc and of twentieth century warfare and security.
