Russian forces attacked the northeastern Ukrainian city of Sumy with drones on Wednesday evening, injuring a 13-year-old boy and damaging homes, vehicles and an industrial site, regional authorities said. The Sumy Regional Military Administration said Russian UAV attacks on the regional center continued into the evening, with Ukrainian air defense forces intercepting a significant number of drones before they reached the community.
