Russian tanker shifts course away from Cuba, raising fuel uncertainty

Federaţia Rusă

March 24 (UPI) -- The Russian-flagged tanker Anatoly Kolodkin, which was expected to deliver 730,000 barrels of crude oil to Cuba, has altered its course in the Caribbean and no longer is heading directly toward the port of Matanzas, according to maritime tracking data and media reports. Data from platforms such as VesselFinder and MarineTraffic show the vessel continuing at a speed of about 10 to 11 knots, but now moving toward the central Caribbean rather than its previously projected route
