In bilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday (Jun 18), Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said Singapore welcomes Russia's strong support for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations' (ASEAN) Centrality and its active engagement of ASEAN. "We look forward to working closely with Russia to identify practical areas for cooperation with ASEAN when we take over as chair of ASEAN next year," added Mr Wong.
