Ukraine has imposed a new sanctions package against self-proclaimed Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, citing Minsk’s growing role in supporting Russia’s war effort. In a statement, published on Wednesday, Feb. 18, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the measures aim to intensify counteraction against “all forms” of Lukashenko’s assistance in Russia’s attacks on Ukraine and pledged to coordinate with international partners to ensure a broader global impact.
