US Fighter Jets Intercept Russian Bombers, Spy Plane Off Alaska

The United States and Canada scrambled multiple aircraft to intercept and track five Russian military planes flying near Alaska on Thursday. The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) said it detected two Russian Tu-95s, two Su-35s and one A-50 early warning spy aircraft operating in the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).
