A US jet known as the 'nuke sniffer' has made an emergency landing in the UK. The plane, a USAF WC-135R Constant Phoenix , is used to pick up radioactive particles in the air. It dotted down at at RAF Mildenhall on Tuesday after a mission over Northern Europe was suddenly cut short.
