Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air advertised that it has started recruiting Ukrainians, which the media perceived as the company’s return to the country. The airline has since clarified that the purpose of recruitment is not linked to an immediate resumption of flights. “Currently, due to the ongoing war and closed airspace, we cannot resume operations in Ukraine. We sincerely apologize for any possible misunderstandings that our campaign may have caused,” the airline said in response to an
