Russia is turning Moscow into a fortified air defense hub, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky, who says the capital is now protected by some of the country’s most advanced missile systems. According to his official Telegram channel, he says that S-400 and S-500 anti-ballistic systems, backed by Pantsir air defense systems, have been deployed in “hundreds of launchers” around the Moscow region to protect the city from aerial threats.
