The Trump administration used a citizenship interview as a pretext to arrest a Columbia University student of Palestinian descent. Mohsen K. Mahdawi, a U.S. permanent resident who has lived in the country for 10 years, showed up to what he thought was his citizenship interview Monday at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office in Colchester, Vermont.
