Project Freedom is back on. Yesterday the Saudis (and, apparently, Kuwait) shut down the Trump administration’s plan to help ships get out of the Strait of Hormuz, where as many as 2,000 are stranded by dueling blockades. Trump had announced the operation with great fanfare and then sent his trusted Cabinet officials to spread the word and keep Project Freedom in the headlines, only to pull the plug after just a few ships made it out.
