Iranian authorities are reportedly considering "gradually" restoring Internet access after cutting communications across the country more than a week ago amid deadly nationwide protests. Text messages and international phone calls were shut down during the demonstrations, but are now back online. The weeks-long unrest has subsided to an uneasy calm. An Iranian official says 5,000 people were killed in the country's worst protests in years.
