War in Sudan has pushed millions to the brink of hunger, with children in Darfur facing famine-level malnutrition, according to  UNICEF . Since April 2023, fighting between the army and the paramilitary group Rapid Support Forces has killed tens of thousands and displaced about 11 million people. Nearly 40% of hospitals are out of service. Aid efforts are underfunded, while global disruptions, including tensions affecting key shipping routes , are driving up food and fertilizer costs —
