The government is paying utmost attention to families and businesses amid the "complex situation" caused by the economic fallout of the Iran war, Premier Giorgia Meloni said Friday in explaining why the government has extended a 25-cent per litre cut on fuel excuse duty until May 1.     "The government intervened today with a new decree to extend the reduction in fuel excise duties, expanding the measure with targeted support for farmers and exporting companies," Meloni said on social media.
