With the national average for a gallon of gas hitting the highest prices in four years on Thursday, some consumers say they're finding it difficult to afford to top off their tanks. The national average for a gallon of regular gasoline reached $4.30 on Thursday, a jump of 8 cents a gallon overnight and $1.33 a gallon since the war in Iran began on Feb. 28, according to AAA.
