In the Holyrood elections, all the main parties have wrapped themselves in the Saltire, but on doorsteps it’s not independence that is driving voter intentions. The debate in Scotland – just like in other parts of Britain – is dominated by anger with Sir Keir Starmer and the UK Government over immigration, high energy bills and other issues. Two years ago, polling suggested that the Scottish Labour Party, led by Anas Sarwar, would oust the SNP. Now, the polls paint a very different picture –
