April 3 (UPI) -- Saturday's Santa Anita Derby , Wood Memorial at Aqueduct and Blue Grass at Keeneland all but wrap up the Kentucky Derby prep season and tentatively set the 20-horse field for the May 2 Run for the Roses. All that's left after those big three finals are the smattering of "Road to the Kentucky Derby" points available from the Lexington Stakes on April 11 at Keeneland and the seeming inevitable defections from the field.
