June 15 (UPI) -- The Massachusetts Port Authority officially broke a Guinness World Record by creating a soccer ball measuring 47.9 feet in diameter. The soccer ball, installed in Piers Park II in East Boston, was approved by Guinness World Records and officially took the title of the world's largest soccer ball from a 39.98-foot ball created in Qatar in 2013.
