United States President Donald Trump said he will hit Canada with a massive tariff in his latest trade war spat. Trump said in a post on Truth Social on Thursday, January 29, that he will charge the US neighbour a 50% tariff on all aircrafts sold to his country after he said Canada has refused to certify several Gulfstream jets. His post came after a separate threat over the weekend to impose a 100% tariff on goods imported from Canada if it went ahead with a planned trade deal with China .
