Already a national name in the sports world, ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith is close to becoming known nationwide — and possibly worldwide. In a 1-on-1 interview with Robert Costa , a national correspondent for “CBS Sunday Morning” and the chief Washington analyst for CBS News, Smith expressed his desire to move into politics and make a serious attempt at a 2028 presidential run. Smith told Costa, “I will confess to you, I’m giving strong consideration to being on that debate stage for 2027”
