The National Union "Forţa Legii" is asking the Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, for "fair" salaries for medical assistants in the public health system, "real" increases, "decent" working conditions and adequate equipment for hospitals. "After years of promises, patchwork and institutional ignorance, the reality in hospitals is increasingly harsh: nurses are undervalued, overworked and unprotected, despite the vital role they play in keeping the healthcare system afloat," the union said
